A cup of hot latte may warm up the soul, but it’s not the perfect drink on a very humid summer day. So, go ahead…raise your glass, drink up, and cheers to brain freeze!
Frrrozen Butterbeer Latte
Yield: 2 servings
Prep time: 5 minutes
Cook time: 5 minutes
2 tablespoons butter
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar
1 cup milk
1 teaspoon vanilla
dash of ground cinnamon
pinch of ground nutmeg, optional
1 cup ice
1. In a saucepan, melt the butter and brown sugar over medium heat.
2. When the sugar is dissolved, remove from heat. Stir in the milk, vanilla, cinnamon, and nutmeg, if using. Mix until combined.
3. In a blender (I used a magic bullet), add the ice then pour the latte over. Process until smooth.
