Pumpkin Butter

Here’s an interesting warm spicy twist on your toast. If you’re adventurous like me, try adding dark chocolates and a few slices of brie. Cook in a panini press or griddle and you’ll end up having a grilled cheese sammy perfection!

Pumpkin Butter
Yield: 1 cup
Prep time: 1 minute
Cook time: 6 hours

1 15-ounce can pumpkin purée
3/4 cup maple syrup
1/4 cup apple juice
1 tablespoon lemon juice
1 teaspoon pumpkin pie spice
Pinch of salt

1. Throw everything in the slow cooker and give it a stir. Turn the slow cooker on and cook for 6 hours.
2. Transfer to a canning jar and keep in the fridge for a week.
